PALLASHINO - OR CREPES | |
1 gal. water 2 glasses milk 1 egg 2-3 c. flour (Heckers) Butter Salt, less than 1 tbsp. 1 tbsp. oil (only needed if no butter) In a pot put 3/4 of the gallon and the 2 glasses of milk and 1 egg. Start to beat a little. Add the salt and the oil or melted butter. Start to pour flour 1 cup, beat very good. Then add another 1 cup beat. The mix is suppose to be on the thin side (not liquidy). When reaches the texture you want to put a dash of butter in a frying pan (not a stick of butter). Do not let the butter burn. Pour in the frying pan with 1 scoop of a laddle (enough to cover the pan). Let it cook, flip over. Turn and slip it into the plate. Keep repeating procedures. You may eat them plain or with jelly, sliced first or cheese. |
