BASIC CHEESE CAKE | |
CRUST: 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs 4 tbsp. butter, melted 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. sugar FILLING: 1 c. sugar 16 oz. cream cheese 4 eggs 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 pt. sour cream Make crust in a 9" spring form pan, by combining all crust ingredients and mixing well. Form crust on sides of pan by pressing with hands. Use a mixer to make filling. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing well. Add one egg at a time and beat. Then add vanilla and sour cream until well blended. Bake in a 350 degree oven (preheated) for 45 minutes. Turn off oven and let cake set in oven for 2 hours more. DO NOT OPEN OVEN! Serve as is or add your favorite fruit pie filling on the top. Excellent cake. |
