GRANDMA'S APPLE PIE 
6 tart apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. lemon juice

TOPPING:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter

Peel and thinly slice apples into a mixing bowl. Toss with sugar and cinnamon and lemon juice. Place in a 9 inch pan lined with pastry crust. Crumble topping ingredients together and sprinkle evenly over top of apples.

Bake 50-60 minutes at 350°F until brown and bubbly.
