BRUNCH OR EGG DISH | |
1 loaf French bread 3 c. of milk 4 tsp. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. butter, cut in small pieces Cut up bread into 1 inch thick slices and arrange in single layer on the bottom of a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Combine remaining ingredients, except butter and pour over bread. Dot with butter. Cover with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate 4 to 36 hours. Bake uncovered in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden. Serve with maple syrup. Serves 6. |
