LAYERED DESSERT 
1 stick butter
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. nut meats
1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
2 sm. boxes instant chocolate or banana pudding
3 c. milk

Blend butter and flour until mealy. Put into 9 x 13 pan. Pat until spread over bottom of pan. Then spread and pat nut meats. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool thoroughly.

Whip softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip. Spread gently over crust in pan.

Take the boxes of pudding, use only 3 cups of milk and whip. Then pour over cream cheese layer. Chill 20 minutes. Top with rest of Cool Whip and chill 8 hours or overnight.
