TERIYAKI RICE 
2 cups cooked rice (your favorite)

SAUCE:

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (I use Kikkoman)
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 tbsp. sugar, divided

In a medium sized saucepan heat up rice and water. Slowly stir in teriyaki sauce. Let heat up for about 3 minutes while adding a sprinkle of sugar every minute. Let sugar caramelize until rice is thick. Heat for another 2 minutes, stir, and let stand for 5 minutes for sauce to thicken.

Serve as a side dish.
