SIMPLE SESAMES | |
2 c. (4 sticks) butter, softened 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 c. flour 1 c. sesame seeds 2 c. shredded coconut 1/2 c. finely chopped almonds In large mixer bowl, cream butter gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add flour and mix until combined. Stir in sesame seed, coconut and almonds until well mixed. Divide dough into thirds. Place each 1/3 of dough on waxed paper and shape into long roll 2 inches in diameter. Wrap and chill until firm. Cut rolls in 1/4 inch slices on ungreased pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen. |
