MARTY'S CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE 
1 stick butter, sliced
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. water

Microwave on Full Power for 2 minutes.

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix dry ingredients. Add to hot cocoa mixture; beat well.

1 egg
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Batter will be thin. Pour into an 8-inch or 2-quart utility dish. Bake in microwave for 6 minutes on #7 level or on medium setting. Bake for 1 1/2 minutes on Full Power.

Turn dish several times after the first 2 minutes. There should be a little batter on the top and sides of dish. This will finish cooking out of the oven.

FUDGE FROSTING:

1/2 stick butter, sliced
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, cocoa and milk on Full Power for 1 1/2 minutes. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Return to oven and cook on Full Power for 30 seconds. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over top of cake.

To make buttermilk, mix 1 cup sweet ilk and 3 teaspoons vinegar for 20 seconds or 1/4 cup sweet milk and 1 teaspoon vinegar for 7 seconds.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
