QUICK CHOCOLATE FUDGE NUT CAKE | |
2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 2 sticks butter 1 c. water 3 tbsp. cocoa 2 eggs 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1. Sift flour and sugar together. Bring butter, water and cocoa to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar. 2. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth. 3. Bake in greased 11 1/2" x 16" pan in preheated 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Pour hot icing over hot cake. ICING: Bring 1 stick butter, 6 tablespoons milk and 3 tablespoons cocoa to boil. Remove from heat. Beat in one pound confectioners' sugar, 1 cup chopped nuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla. |
