CHEESY FRENCH BREAD | |
1 lb. loaf French bread 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, thinly sliced 3/4 c. butter 1 c. onion, minced 2 tbsp. poppy seed Cut bread into about 20 slices. Insert cheese between each piece. Melt butter; combine with minced onion and poppy seed. Place bread on boil. Pour butter mixture over top of bread. Wrap foil loosely around bread - leave open on top. Heat in 350 degree oven until heated through and cheese melts (20 to 25 minutes). Serves 8 to 10. |
