BROWNIE CUPCAKES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 1/4 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring. Stir in nuts, set aside.

Sift dry ingredients together. Add eggs and vanilla to dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate mixture; mix well.

Put 21 paper cups in cupcake pan. Fill about two thirds full. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 25 to 35 minutes. Cool. These are delicious plain or you may frost or sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
