1 unbaked pie crust
1 c. hickory nuts
1 c. bread crumbs
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 egg
pinch salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie shell.

Bake at 350°F until knife comes out clean as for custard pie.
