DENVER CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 1/3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. water
4 tsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
4 tsp. cocoa
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 lb. powdered sugar

Mix together in a bowl: flour, sugar and baking soda. Bring to a boil: butter, water and cocoa. Pour mixture over dry ingredients. Add to mixture: buttermilk, eggs (beaten) and vanilla extract. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Frosting: Heat butter, cocoa and buttermilk to boiling. Remove from heat. Then add vanilla extract and powdered sugar, beat to right consistency and apply to cooled cake. Best cake in the west!
