APPLE CRISP 
6 to 7 Cortland apples
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 c. melted butter

Peel and slice apples and place in greased baking dish. Sift in bowl the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in egg. Spread over apples and drizzle with butter.

Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350°F. Serve with ice cream.
