WILD RICE SOUP 
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. fresh mushrooms, chopped
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. half & half
1/4 c. dry sherry
3 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice
Salt & pepper
1 tsp. dill weed

Saute onion and mushroom in butter for 5 minutes. Stir in flour. Let sit 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients. (Salt and pepper to taste.) Simmer 20 to 25 minutes. For variation, add chopped cooked turkey or chicken.
