ONE POT SPANISH NOODLES 
1/2 lb. bacon
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
Few red pepper flakes
Dash of black pepper
4 c. wide egg noodles

Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces. In a large pot, fry bacon until brown and crisp; remove and set aside. Saute onion, green pepper and ground beef in bacon drippings until browned. Pour off fat. Add tomatoes, water and seasonings; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Bring mixture to a boil and add noodles. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes longer, stirring occasionally until noodles are tender. Transfer to serving dish and sprinkle bacon over top.
