SOURDOUGH BREAD 
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
1 c. starter
1 1/2 c. warm water
6 c. plain flour

Put flour in a large bowl. Add other ingredients. Dough will be stiff. Grease another large bowl. Put dough in this and brush top with oil. Cover lightly with foil and let set overnight. (Do not refrigerate.)

Next morning, punch down and knead. Divide dough into 3 parts. Knead each and put in 3 greased loaf pans. Brush with oil and cover with foil. Let rise until dough reaches top of pan. This may take all day. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on racks if you can keep your family from eating it hot.
