HAM 'N CHEESE CRESCENT BUNS 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. or 1 c. thinly sliced ham or chopped corned beef
3/4 c. (3 oz.) shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese
2-4 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2-3 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
butter, divided

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease muffin cups. In small bowl, combine first four ingredients. Separate crescent dough into separate triangles. Spoon meat mixture on wide end of each triangle; top with 1/4 teaspoon butter. Wrap dough around ham mixture; completely cover mixture and press edges of dough tightly to seal to prevent leakage during baking. Place in prepared muffin cups. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Refrigerate any leftovers. NOTE: I used ham and Swiss. This is great for lunch.
