1 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. M&M candies
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix brown sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 3 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Press 3 or 4 additional candies onto each cookie. Bake until light brown 10-15 minutes. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack. Yield: 2 1/2 dozen.
