Powdered sugar 3 3/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup 1 c. water 1 tsp. Lorann flavoring oil Food coloring Sprinkle 18 x 24 inch strip of heavy duty aluminum foil with powdered sugar. Mix sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring until temperature reaches 310 degrees, or until drops of syrup form hard, brittle threads in cold water. Remove from heat, stir in flavoring, oil and coloring. Pour onto foil. Let cool and break into pieces. |
