FRUKT SOPPA (FRUIT SOUP) 
1 1/2 c. prunes
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. dried apricots
1 stick cinnamon
Grated orange peel
1/2 c. dried peaches
4 tbsp. corn starch
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 c. sugar

Cook fruit slowly in plenty of water until tender. Add sugar, corn starch, cinnamon and orange peel to taste. Simmer 1/2 hour. Added fruit juice will add flavor. This makes a lot and can also be used as pie filling.
