APPLE CRANBERRY CRISP | |
6 c. sliced apples 1 c. fresh cranberries 1 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. cinnamon TOPPING: 2 c. quick rolled oats 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 - 1/2 c. soft butter Combine apples and cranberries. In small bowl, combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Add this to the fruit and mix. For the Topping: Combine oats, sugar, and cinnamon. With pastry blender (or 2 knives), cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until bubbling and fruit is tender. Serve warm or cold. Makes 8 servings. |
