CHEESE AND GARLIC GRITS
CASSEROLE
 
1 c. grits
1/4 lb. butter, melted
3/4 lb. Cheddar or american cheese, grated
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Hot sauce
1/2 to 1 clove garlic, minced
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Prepare grits according to package instructions. Fold in butter, grated cheese, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and garlic. Beat egg whites to form stiff peaks, and fold into grits. Pour into casserole dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes until lightly browned.
