BAKED FISH 
1 1/2 lb. cod or fish of your liking
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 med. onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. sweet pickle vinegar
Buttered bread crumbs

Cut fish into serving pieces. Soak in water to cover, adding lemon juice, about 1/2 hour. Saute onions, celery and pepper in oil or butter. Add salt, ketchup, brown sugar and pickle vinegar. Drain and dry fish portions. Place in oblong casserole which has been greased. Cover with the sauteed vegetables. Sprinkle with the crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Drain excess juice if served in casserole.
