GRILLED TUNA CHEDDAR SANDWICHES | |
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can 60% less salt tuna packed in water, drained 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. (1 1/2 oz.) shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. thinly sliced green onions 2 tbsp. plain nonfat yogurt 2 tsp. diced pimiento 1 tsp. Dijon mustard 1/4 tsp. low sodium Worcestershire sauce 4 slices whole wheat bread Vegetable cooking spray Combine tuna and next seven ingredients; stir well. Spread tuna mixture evenly over 2 slices of bread; top with remaining bread slices. Transfer sandwiches to a sandwich press or hot griddle that has been coated with cooking spray. Cook until bread is lightly browned and cheese is slightly melted. Yield: 2 servings (292 calories per serving). |
