CHOCOLATE MINT MOUSSE TORTE | |
2 1/2 pkgs. Lady Fingers 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet morsels, melted 6 eggs, separated, whipped whites 1 pt. heavy cream 1 lg. spring pan Beat egg yolks into chocolate. Whip egg whites and add to chocolate mixture; whip 1/2 pint heavy cream, add to chocolate mixture; whip 1/2 pint heavy cream, add to above ingredients. Carefully pushing out air bubbles. Pour 1/2 mixture into lined Lady Finger pan; add second layer of Lady Fingers and remaining chocolate mixture. Chill several hours. Before serving whip remaining cream, sweeten to taste and frost top. Serves 8. |
