FRIED WALNUTS 
1 c. nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts, pine nuts or walnuts)
1 1/2 c. salad oil

Heat the oil in a wok or saucepan over medium low heat. When oil becomes warm, add nuts. Fold and stir constantly until nuts become light brown. Do not over cook and do not allow to become hot - nuts are easy to burn. Drain on paper towels. Cool. Store nuts in plastic bag or glass jar.
