Melt 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate and 3 tablespoons butter over low heat. Remove from heat, stir in 1 cup confectioners' sugar and 3/4 teaspoon vanilla. Mix in about 2 tablespoons hot water, 1 teaspoon at a time, until glaze is of proper consistency.
