CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 jar (10 oz.) maraschino cherries

Mix ingredients together and shape into 1 inch balls. Press center down with thumb. Place a cherry in center. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

In saucepan, combine 1 (6 ounce) chocolate chips and 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk. Heat until chips are melted. Stir in 4 teaspoons of cherry juice or more to make it thinner. Spoon 1 teaspoon of frosting over cherry on cookie after they are baked.
