SPATZEL - GERMAN NOODLE | |
3 1/2 c. flour 5 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt Boiling water Mix all ingredients into a soft batter. Pour into spatzel maker and press into boiling water. When spatzels rise to the top of the boiling water they are done. Scoop out with slotted spoon. To make without spatzel maker use a flat cheese grater held over water. Let batter drip through holes, into water. Makes 6 or 7 servings. |
