STUFFED PISTOLETTES 
1-2 lbs. ground meat (beef or turkey)
2 lg. onions
1 sm. bell pepper
Celery
Salt and pepper
2 pkgs. "Hearth" Pistolettes
Several cloves garlic
1 roll sausage
1 lg. wedge Cheddar
Parmesan cheese
Melted butter

Brown ground meat and sausage. Add onions and bell pepper, celery and garlic. Cook until vegetables are soft and well cooked. Remove grease. Cut Pistolettes in half width-wise and remove bread from within. Save 1 cup of bread and add to meat mixture. Add Cheddar cheese and simmer until cheese melts.

Stuff breads with mixture, baste tops of Pistolettes with melted butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake until bread turns golden brown, 10-15 minutes, in 350 degree oven. Pistolettes can be frozen. Makes 48 1/2 size servings.
