1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 lb. Velveeta Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread, cubed
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked, drained
Dash of pepper

In 2 quart saucepan, cook onions in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients; stir over low heat until process cheese spread is melted and mixture is hot. Top each serving with toasted slivered almonds, if desired. Four 3/4 cup servings.
