Thread: 223 to 234 degrees: Forms 2 inch soft thread.

Soft Ball: 234 to 240 degrees: Forms a ball, doesn't hold shape.

Firm Ball: 242 to 248 degrees: Forms a ball, holds shape when pressed.

Hard Ball: 250 to 268 degrees: Forms a ball, holds shape, is pliable.

Soft Crack: 270 to 290 degrees: Separates into hard brittle ball.

Hard Crack: 300 to 310 degrees; Separates into hard ball.
