1 1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
6 bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mash bananas and add; mix well. Add vanilla, flour, soda and salt. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees in a large bundt pan. Helpful Hint on Bundt Pans: Spray with Pam. When cooking time is completed, remove from oven and set timer for 5 minutes, turn onto cooling rack.
