MEXICAN CORNBREAD CASSEROLE 
1 c. yellow corn meal
1 c. sweet milk
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 sm. can whole kernel corn
1 sm. jar pimento
1/3 c. oil

Cook 1 pound hamburger with 1/2 cup chopped onion and 3 finely chopped Jalapeno peppers. Add 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (Cheddar or Velveeta) and stir until cheese is melted.

Mix all of the above ingredients together. Pour 1/2 the mixture into a heavy pan that has been greased and heated. Pour meat mixture over this and top with rest of corn bread mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven 1 hour or until brown.
