LINDA'S PRALINE BRUNCH TOAST 
8 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. brown sugar plus 1 tbsp.
2 tsp. vanilla
8 slices French bread
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. maple syrup
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Blend eggs, milk, tablespoon brown sugar, vanilla. Soak bread overnight in refrigerator. Next day melt butter in 13 x 9 pan. Stir in 3/4 cup brown sugar and syrup. Sprinkle nuts over. Place bread over this, pour over rest of egg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until puffy and light brown. Invert onto plates to serve.
