PINTO BEANS AND GERMAN SAUSAGE 
2 lbs. pinto beans, soaked overnight (if desired)
4 loops of your favorite German sausage, cut in bite size
4 lg. yellow onions, cut in hunks

Combine the above ingredients and simmer for 8 hours or more until beans are tender. Do not use other seasonings but do use a large pot. Add 2 cans of stewed tomatoes, cut up. Simmer with off until it reaches desired consistency. Yield: 12 servings.
