RUSSIAN CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
2 eggs
1/4 c. oil, Wesson or Crisco
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/4 tbsp. crushed red pepper
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. cream style corn
1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Sift together meal and sugar in a bowl. Stir in red pepper. Mix together eggs, oil and buttermilk. Add to meal mixture and mix well. Add onions, corn and cheese; mix well. Spray with Pam a 7 x 11 x 2 inch pan. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. Good with everything.
