CREAM OF VEGETABLE SOUP 
6 c. water
2 carrots, peeled & shredded
2 c. diced celery & leaves
2 onions, chopped
2 c. diced potatoes
4 c. med. white sauce
1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
8 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. milk

Cook celery, onions and potatoes in the water. Add the white sauce to the above mixture. Heat thoroughly.

WHITE SAUCE - Microwave:

Melt butter in a large container. Blend in the flour and salt until smooth. Gradually, stirring constantly, add the milk. Cook for 3-4 minutes on roast in microwave, stirring occasionally.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
