CHERRY CRUNCH 
1 stick butter
1 box yellow cake mix
2 cans red tart cherries

Cut butter into cake mix. Reserve 1 cup. Pat into long ungreased pan. Add cherries with juice. Sprinkle with sugar. Add reserved mix sprinkled on top. Add chopped pecans if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
