3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, butter or shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

For chocolate chips cookies, add about 1/2 package chocolate chips.
