3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. shortening or butter
1 tsp. orange flavoring
1 egg
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk

Beat together all ingredients except flour. Add flour gradually. Roll floured board and cut with cookie cutter. Bake in 375 degree oven until brown. Great for the children for an afternoon snack.
