MARZETTI 
1 pkg. (4 oz.) noodles, precooked
2 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 c. cream tomato soup
1 c. (6 oz.) tomato paste
1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. (8 oz.) mushrooms, juice, stems & pieces
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese

Melt shortening; brown meat. Add onion, green pepper and mushrooms. Cook until tender. Add seasonings. Combine tomato soup, paste, water and Worcestershire sauce. Place layer of noodles in greased casserole, then a layer of meat, covered with sauce and half of cheese; repeat. Top with remaining cheese. Bake in a 3 quart casserole at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
