3 HOLE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3 heaping tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1 c. water

Sift dry ingredients into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly and make three holes in the dry ingredients. Pour the following into the holes: first hole - cooking oil, second hole - vanilla and third hole - vinegar. Pour water over this and stir well. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. 5 minutes before cake is done pour following icing over hot cake: Mix together and boil one minute: 9 tbsp. brown sugar, packed (1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp.) 4 tbsp. evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped pecans

Don't touch the cake after pouring icing over.
