BROWN BAG APPLE PIE 
5 or 6 apples, sliced
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. water
1/8 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. flour
1 pie shell

Place apples in pie shell. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 stick butter

Combine all ingredients to make a crumbly mixture. Drop on top of pie. Place in a large paper bag and use paper clips to bind airtight. Bake for 1 hour at 425 degrees.
