OATMEAL COOKIES (Low
Cholesterol)
 
3/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 egg whites
1/4 c. water
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. Quaker Oats
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Beat together shortening, sugar, egg whites, water and vanilla until creamy. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 12-25 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
