1 3/4 c. sugar
3 whole eggs
1 c. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. walnuts, chopped
3 c. tart apples, sliced & diced

In mixer, cream sugar, oil and eggs well. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients and blend. Fold in apples and nuts. Turn into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until toothpick tests clean. Serve dusted with powdered sugar, whipped topping, ice cream or plain.
