SWEET-SOUR MUSTARD SAUCE | |
3 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 egg 1/3 c. light brown sugar, packed 1 tsp. paprika 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1 tbsp. butter In small bowl, combine mustard, egg, sugar, and paprika. Beat with rotary beater. Add vinegar and beat again. Melt butter in small saucepan, take from heat, and allow to cool. Blend mixed ingredients into cooled butter. Cook, stirring, over low heat, until thickened, about 4 to 5 minutes. Cool. NOTE: This is good for dipping chicken pieces, egg rolls, etc. |
