JAM CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. jam (grape)
1 c. buttermilk with 1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder

ICING:

1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter. Add other ingredients. Bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees.

Mix icing ingredients. Spread on cake while it is hot.
