BARBECUED SKILLET CHICKEN | |
2 tbsp. oil 1 tsp. curry powder 1 lg. clove garlic, minced (or 1 tsp. garlic powder) 2 to 3 lb. chicken parts 1 can or 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix 2 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 c. ketchup 1 tbsp. honey In large skillet, put oil, curry and garlic. Add chicken parts and brown. Remove. Put off heat. In drippings, stir in the soup mix and flour. Gradually stir in the water and remaining ingredients. Return chicken to pan, cover and cook over low heat. Stir occasionally until tender or put all in roaster pan and put in oven at 350 degrees, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. |
